The One Paris Dinner Cruise on the Seine We'd Tell Everyone to Book!
Paris is packed with world-class museums, historic cafes, and stunning architecture, but our evening dinner cruise along the Seine sticks out as one of our favorite experiences during our visit! Part of our one-week Paris trip itinerary, this boat ride was the ideal pairing of classic French flavors and sightseeing of some of Paris’ most beautiful icons all beautifully lit up for the evening. Here's what you need to know before you go…and a bit of heavy convincing to add it to your Paris must-do list!

Planning Your Visit
The tour is a fantastic value for a mid-range luxury experience, starting around $90 per person for a full 3-course dinner and sightseeing cruise. We easily booked the cruise on Get Your Guide! There are a few Seine cruises available, but the "Paris en Scène" panoramic dinner cruise is the one we did and highly recommend.
The meeting point is central and super easy to find, located at Port de Javel Haut. We can easily walk here from some major points of interest, but we reached it by taking the metro to the nearby Javel - André Citroën station, then walked about 5-6 minutes more from there. We arrived about 20 minutes early for boarding, which we definitely recommend so you can get settled in before departure. The staff was helpful and checked us in quickly, so we were on the boat and ready to go with no hassle.
Summer in Paris can be quite balmy, especially in the evening before the sun sets. After walking around the city all day, the AC in the boat was much needed, and relatively surprising as it’s not always a given in France! And the breeze on the top deck was pleasant as the boat cruised along.
We ventured out a few times between courses but were always happy to return to our own seats with a glass of wine in hand. The interior seating is designed to face outward toward the Seine, giving you an unobstructed view of Paris's illuminated landmarks. We had side by side seats so that we could enjoy our dinner while focusing on good conversation and the views!

The French Dinner Cruise Experience
When you book a tourist cruise with food included, it’s easy to be skeptical about the meal quality. While it wasn’t the most standout meal we’ve ever had in Paris, it definitely was tasty! You are served a sumptuous three-course dinner featuring traditional French dishes prepared with care. You’re given a few options for the courses, but we chose the chicken and the salmon, and both were very good!
The staff are super attentive and make sure your dining experience feels elegant and relaxed. The meal includes a first course, main course, dessert, and mineral water. In addition to the food provided with your ticket purchase, you can purchase beer or wine by the glass or bottle to complement the food.

What to Expect On Board the Seine River Dinner Cruise
The evening cruise takes you along the Seine River for an hour and 45 minutes, offering unmatched panoramic views of Paris's most iconic landmarks all lit up at night. The Eiffel Tower, Musée d'Orsay, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre, and Place de la Concorde all look completely different (and honestly, more magical) when they're illuminated against the night sky.
Sailing all the way to the charming Île Saint-Louis and back, the pacing of the cruise is incredibly smooth. You have plenty of time to enjoy your meal without feeling rushed, and the ambiance on the water is incredibly romantic.
They offer two departure times (typically 6:45 PM and 9:30 PM). If seeing the buildings glowing against the night sky is important to you, the later evening times ensure that the City of Light is living up to its name. But because we always prefer eating earlier and enjoy a good sunset, we loved our earlier evening cruise!

Since the cruise departs from Port de Javel Haut, you are just a short distance from the Eiffel Tower and the beautiful Pont de l'Alma. It’s an incredibly scenic area to explore before or after your boat ride.
The docking area is beautiful at night and perfect for a few final photos of the illuminated Parisian skyline. If you opt for the earlier cruise time, the surrounding arrondissements are full of cozy wine bars to grab a nightcap to end your evening!
When the cruise ended, we didn't rush off immediately. With the gorgeous evening light, we walked over to the Champ de Mars Park to see the eiffel tower sparkle on the hour for the first time in the evening.
