Hey y’all!
We’re Andrew & Kait
We’re married travelers exploring new and nostalgic places to help you see more of the world and take the best vacations ever. From the Arctic Circle to Australia and everywhere in between, there is so much goodness in the world just waiting to be experienced. With a worldview that most people are good and that there’s more that connects us than divides us, we love sharing relatable travel stories and tips others can experience for themselves.
We are driven by our core belief that we can’t wait until retirement to travel to the bucket list places we’ve always dreamed about. Though we’re in our 30s, both of life’s sweet joys and significant losses have reminded us that we’re not promised tomorrow, much less a long and healthy retirement full of slow-paced adventures across the globe. We value using weekends and limited vacation days to travel as much as possible, rather than waiting for a tomorrow that may never come.
To help others see more of the world more often, we share detailed itineraries and travel tips to ensure your trip goes as smoothly as possible! By living in, traveling through, and repeatedly visiting each destination, we’re able to take notes on the best things to do and get the inside scoop on how locals navigate, eat, shop, dress, and live.
Fun Facts About Us:
Andrew was born and raised in Iowa, and Kait is a Louisiana native. We lived in Dallas, Texas, for several years before moving to our new home in Charlotte, NC.
Andrew is the creative genius behind all the visuals, like the PDFs, web design, graphics, and videos. He’s also a full-time video editor and manages our YouTube Channel. His first international trip was to Kolkata, India, back in 2009, and he’s been obsessed with global travel ever since.
Kait is the strategic planner behind each custom vacation, itinerary, and route. Through a decade of working in tourism, Kait uses her skills and passion for promoting local gems to share the inside scoops on taking the best vacations across the world. Her first international trip was to Lucerne, Switzerland, in 2010, and she’s been into travel planning ever since!
We married young! (When you know, you know, right?) We’ve been married for twelve amazing years and have no current plans to have kiddos, in part due to Kait’s endometriosis and our nonstop lifestyle.
We’re basically grandparents. We love slow mornings of coffee in bed, eating dinner at 5:30 p.m., and rewatching 90s sitcoms before going to bed early.
We’ve visited 27 U.S. States, five continents, and 31 countries! We have no set travel goals besides wanting to see every single continent and explore the world deeply.
